In November 2016, Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee changed its term. Liu Jie, born in January 1970, was elected to the Standing Committee of the provincial Party committee. He was the youngest provincial standing committee at that time and the first provincial standing committee member of the “post-70s” in the country. He is currently the secretary-general of Jiangxi Provincial Party Committee.
